Personal Creative Project
Project Expertise
This personal project began with the creation of a single robot illustration and developed to explore character design, color, and visual storytelling. Using digital illustration techniques, the original sketch was expanded into a series of three distinct characters, each serving as the foundation for its own fictional soda brand. With characters established, the project moved into brand development, where key skills in visual identity design were applied. Each soda was given a unique personality through typography, color palettes, and graphic elements, ensuring a cohesive yet differentiated system across the series.
The next phase focused on packaging design. The illustrations were translated into soda can labels, with careful attention to layout, hierarchy, and readability while maintaining the playful, whimsical tone established in the artwork. This required balancing expressive visuals with functional design considerations typical of consumer packaging. Product mockups were created to showcase the designs in context. These mockups emphasize interaction between the characters and the cans, reinforcing the narrative and demonstrating how the brand would exist in a real-world setting.
Overall, the project highlights skills in illustration, brand identity development, packaging design, and visual storytelling, resulting in a cohesive and engaging conceptual product line.
