This project involved creating a product feature video for IDEX to support the launch of a new systems product line at Photonics West. The goal was to translate technical product information into a clear, engaging visual narrative that could be easily understood by a broad audience.
Script analysis and storyboard development was the first step to creating this video. Each scene was mapped out to align voice-over, visuals, and transitions, allowing for early feedback and ensuring a cohesive direction before moving into production. This phase focused on establishing flow, pacing, and clarity while staying consistent with the brand.
From there, visual assets were developed and refined to align with IDEX’s identity. Emphasis was placed on simplifying complex concepts through clean, on-brand graphics that could guide the viewer through the product’s features in a logical, story-driven sequence. Then in Adobe After Effects, I moved to animation, where the storyboard was brought to life through smooth transitions and purposeful motion. Attention was given to timing, continuity, and visual hierarchy to ensure the content remained engaging without overwhelming the viewer
